Do I have to take the quiz to join?

Can I change my membership tier later?

Yes. Start at whatever level feels right for where you're at now. You can upgrade any time as your business grows or you want more visibility and support. There's no lock-in.

What's the difference between a vendor and a listing?

A vendor membership means you have your own storefront on Shop Local where customers can browse and buy your products directly. A listing membership means your business gets a dedicated profile on the platform — customers can find you, see what you offer, and contact you, but you're not running an online store. Listings are ideal for service-based businesses or anyone who wants more foot traffic rather than online orders.

Is there really 0% commission on sales?

Yes. Shop Local takes no commission on your sales. Your monthly membership is the only cost. What you make, you keep.

What happens after I sign up?

You'll receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started. Vendors will be walked through setting up their storefront. Listing members will be sent an intake form so we can build your profile. You'll also get access to the business tools suite as part of your membership.

Do the business tools cost extra?

No. The tools are included in your membership. The Audience Direction Tool, Business Clarity Engine, and Offer Clarity Tool are available to all members. The Content Generator is available to Spotlight and above.
